CBC.....The July 11 incident did occur in Richmond Hill.

I remember that July 11th incident didn't it happen in Richmond Hill? I also remember an incident that occurred the
night of September 11, 2001 when a bunch of Muslim people were cheering about what happened to our Towers and
when some patriotic Americans went there to stand up for our country who was arrested not the Muslims cheering for
our Nation's loss, but the Americans that went there to defend our country. The criminals are sent free and the
innocent are somehow always proven guilty. This is about ethics as well as law, they send these gang members off
with a slap on the wrist that gives permission to other gangs to come to our community and start trouble, the law
recognizes this and it is the DA's office to investigate and supply sufficient evidence, which DA Brown has not done
he is pussyfooting around and all it is doing is hurting the case even more. His representatives that were at last
weeks meeting were asked questions in which they did not have the answers, they were also given examples of other
cases that got better treatment and they made excuses as to why these cases were treated differently. How is our
children being attacked by gang members and thugs not a priority? How is this not enough to charge these
delinquents with a higher charge? This is unbelievable, yet I bet if something else God forbid should occur and we as
a community band together to handle it the cops would come after us and not the criminals. No wonder people take
the law into their own hands.

CBC....... A few years ago two members of the Sikh community were beaten up by some white guys, the attack
occurred on July 11, by July 13 the DA and rightfully so, already had hate crimes in place as part of the charges. The
defendants were to return to court on July 26 where the charges were upgraded and bail was set at $50,000. The
men were convicted of assault but were acquitted of any hate crime charges. We feel the DA acted correctly in
immediately including hate crime charges along with the assault charges even though the charges didn't stick. This
action sent a strong message and acted as a deterrent for future attacks. This is what a community expects of their
DA, so do the same in the Halloween attacks and don't cave into political pressure or political correctness. Upgrade
those charges now DA Brown!

CBC......Judging from our poll the community overwhelmingly supports the crack down, the poll has been running 2-1
in favor from the start. While no one wants their child arrested I think we all realize some action had to be taken
because it is getting out of hand. Its up to us to let the kids know to stay away from that area, thats why we put the
information up on our home page scrolling across the top of the page. Fear can do wonders but the word has to get
out to the kids. The 106 is also cracking down on the sellers of the liquor to our kids so if you have any information let
them know and also let us know, we will spread the word and start a boycott of that store. Like I said fear works
wonders especially when it hurts their pocketbooks. While this site is designed to promote our local businesses we will
not tolerate hurting our kids and a business that would is not welcome in our neighborhood.

CBC.....You raise a good point, and we are sorry for not including that in our recap of the meeting. For those who
were not in attendance the police are treating the Sapienza robbery as a separate crime which they claim happened
2 hours prior to the McDonald's attack. There is a video of the Sapienza robbery but the police say it is grainy. When
asked as to why the victims of the McDonald's attack were not shown this video the reply seemed to be that they
have not gotten around to it. (If anyone has a different option on their reply please email us). That question was
asked by a Mother of one of the victims, and she raised a good point especially when they were telling everyone all
the attention that they were giving to this case. Another explanation which I heard after the meeting was that the cops
viewed the video and didn't see any of the attackers in the video. That's fine but the cops only had 8 people in their
custody while 40 were involved in the attack, perhaps some of the 32 others that the cops can't identify committed the
robbery too. The victims are the only that can possibly answer that question. Show them the video.
Neither your website nor any of the local papers mentioned the fact that non of the victims of the attack were shown
the video of the Sapienza robbery to see if they were the same people. Then they tell us what a thorough

CBC...We had a better showing at last night's meeting but the news was not good. Most of our elected political
leaders were on hand as well as representatives from the 106 pct, Hate Crimes Unit, DA's Office and our local
newspapers. At the 106 Pct. meeting last month we felt somewhat optimistic and were willing to give the investigation
some time, well time has passed and it seems as if the DA's office is stonewalling. They continue to say the
investigation is ongoing and that they are still looking for more witnesses to come forward in order for the charges to
be elevated to a hate crime. Someone asked how many witnesses do you need and the reply was very nebulous, as
most of their answers. They could not answer many questions stating that "it is still an ongoing investigation and we
don't want to hurt the case". The next step is to call the witnesses in and identify the accused in a line up. When
asked if the lineup was time sensitive meaning that as time passes it becomes more difficult to identify someone we
got another nebulous answer about getting the accused, their lawyers and the witnesses together takes allot of time
and effort. In my opinion this should have been done immediately.
The Hate Crimes Unit also said that they have reports the white kid were yelling racial slurs at their black attackers.
By now you can see where all this is going and it is not in the direction we want.
I asked a question regarding the reason for these attackers to enter our neighborhood with bats and tire irons but
was rudely interrupted by Pat Adams of The Forum South who implied I was a racist, I guess the definition of racism
down at the Forum South is someone who wants equal justice under the law, lives in Howard Beach and stands with
the victims and the community. To Pat Adams of The Forum South and anyone else, make no mistake the racist are
the 40 members of the gang who entered our community to do harm to our children, and thats where her anger
should be directed not at me, this website, or any comments members of the community may make. It's pathetic that
members of our own community would spread lies about this website and me personally..That word does not scare
me because I know as well as anyone who knows me that I treat everyone with respect no matter what color. She just
continues to loose credibility each and every day.
Anyway they could not answer my question due to the ongoing investigation.
One gentleman who seemed please with their answers stood up and said the wheels of justice turn slowly, they are
looking for witnesses and what more do we want. Well everyone should ponder this: if 40 whites from Howard Beach
went to Bed Sty. to beat up black kids the wheels of justice would turn so fast the wheel itself will fall off. That same
night the Mayor, Police Commissioner would hold news conferences declaring a hate crime and bail would be set not
at $1,500 as in this case but 100's of thousands.
If 40 whites did go to Bed Sty. to beat up black kids I think we all would agree they deserve to be punished to the
fullest extent of the law and we just want equal justice with no politics involved.
What's your opinion? If you attended the meeting we want to know your feelings.
Another very important community issue was addressed by the 106 was that of our kids drinking and hanging out in
the weeds on 165 Ave.
They are instituting a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding drinking and the weeds. If your child is caught there they
will be arrested. Make sure your children stays away from that area. This is a huge problem and it must be addressed
before God forbid a death from alcohol poisoning occurs. This has been an ongoing problem for the last 20 years,
our children have nothing to do and no place to go so as a parent you feel somewhat secure knowing they are
hanging around in the neighborhood with their friends who you know. We all faced these decisions each day having
children i\growing up in Howard Beach. Please email us with some ideas and opinions and maybe we can come up
with some type of solution.

CBC.....You raise a good point, and we are sorry for not including that in our recap of the meeting. For those who
were not in attendance the police are treating the Sapienza robbery as a separate crime which they claim happened
2 hours prior to the McDonald's attack. There is a video of the Sapienza robbery but the police say it is grainy. When
asked as to why the victims of the McDonald's attack were not shown this video the reply seemed to be that they
have not gotten around to it. (If anyone has a different option on their reply please email us). That question was
asked by a Mother of one of the victims, and she raised a good point especially when they were telling everyone all
the attention that they were giving to this case. Another explanation which I heard after the meeting was that the cops
viewed the video and didn't see any of the attackers in the video. That's fine but the cops only had 8 people in their
custody while 40 were involved in the attack, perhaps some of the 32 others that the cops can't identify committed the
robbery too. The victims are the only that can possibly answer that question. Show them the video.
Neither your website nor any of the local papers mentioned the fact that non of the victims of the attack were shown
the video of the Sapienza robbery to see if they were the same people. Then they tell us what a thorough
investigation their conducting, what BS. JB

I think the cops are correct in cracking down on teen drinking, it has become a huge problem everywhere. We in
Howard Beach tend to look the other way but as someone said yesterday it's only a matter of time till something

matter the color should be prosecuted equally. They come to our neighborhood with hate in their eyes beat up our

CBC...We had a better showing at last night's meeting but the news was not good. Most of our elected political
leaders were on hand as well as representatives from the 106 pct, Hate Crimes Unit, DA's Office and our local
newspapers. At the 106 Pct. meeting last month we felt somewhat optimistic and were willing to give the investigation
some time, well time has passed and it seems as if the DA's office is stonewalling. They continue to say the
investigation is ongoing and that they are still looking for more witnesses to come forward in order for the charges to
be elevated to a hate crime. Someone asked how many witnesses do you need and the reply was very nebulous, as
most of their answers. They could not answer many questions stating that "it is still an ongoing investigation and we
don't want to hurt the case". The next step is to call the witnesses in and identify the accused in a line up. When
asked if the lineup was time sensitive meaning that as time passes it becomes more difficult to identify someone we
got another nebulous answer about getting the accused, their lawyers and the witnesses together takes allot of time
and effort. In my opinion this should have been done immediately.
The Hate Crimes Unit also said that they have reports the white kid were yelling racial slurs at their black attackers.
By now you can see where all this is going and it is not in the direction we want.
I asked a question regarding the reason for these attackers to enter our neighborhood with bats and tire irons but
was rudely interrupted by Pat Adams of The Forum South who implied I was a racist, I guess the definition of racism
down at the Forum South is someone who wants equal justice under the law, lives in Howard Beach and stands with
the victims and the community. To Pat Adams of The Forum South and anyone else, make no mistake the racist are
the 40 members of the gang who entered our community to do harm to our children, and thats where her anger
should be directed not at me, this website, or any comments members of the community may make. It's pathetic that
members of our own community would spread lies about this website and me personally..That word does not scare
me because I know as well as anyone who knows me that I treat everyone with respect no matter what color. She just
continues to loose credibility each and every day.
Anyway they could not answer my question due to the ongoing investigation.
One gentleman who seemed please with their answers stood up and said the wheels of justice turn slowly, they are
looking for witnesses and what more do we want. Well everyone should ponder this: if 40 whites from Howard Beach
went to Bed Sty. to beat up black kids the wheels of justice would turn so fast the wheel itself will fall off. That same
night the Mayor, Police Commissioner would hold news conferences declaring a hate crime and bail would be set not
at $1,500 as in this case but 100's of thousands.
If 40 whites did go to Bed Sty. to beat up black kids I think we all would agree they deserve to be punished to the
fullest extent of the law and we just want equal justice with no politics involved.
What's your opinion? If you attended the meeting we want to know your feelings.
Another very important community issue was addressed by the 106 was that of our kids drinking and hanging out in
the weeds on 165 Ave.
They are instituting a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding drinking and the weeds. If your child is caught there they
will be arrested. Make sure your children stays away from that area. This is a huge problem and it must be addressed
before God forbid a death from alcohol poisoning occurs. This has been an ongoing problem for the last 20 years,
our children have nothing to do and no place to go so as a parent you feel somewhat secure knowing they are
hanging around in the neighborhood with their friends who you know. We all faced these decisions each day having
children i\growing up in Howard Beach. Please email us with some ideas and opinions and maybe we can come up
with some type of solution.

Whats your opinion on the Macy's Santa Claus. He looked thin and never said Ho Ho Ho. Looks like Macy's
caved in, last week there was a movement to ban Santa from saying Ho Ho Ho because it offended women,
also Santa was setting a bad example for our children by being fat and jolly. When will it ever end? I don't
think Santa even said Merry Christmas, if someone knows for sure let us know. Hope we didn't offend
anybody by saying the word "Christmas". Everyone is so politically correct trying not to offend anyone
except when it comes to the residents of Howard Beach, then they can say whatever they want about us
